Terms
Terms and conditions
The agreements that apply when you rent a mobility aid from us. We have kept them as short and as plain as we could.

01Who we are
These terms apply to every rental you arrange through this website with MR Motion, a trading name of MR-Solutions B.V. Your contract is with:
- MR-Solutions B.V., trading as MR Motion
- G. Schipperstraat 11, 1411 TG Naarden, the Netherlands
- info@mrmotion.nl
- Chamber of Commerce 96571101
- VAT number NL867666237B01
We rent to private customers. If your situation is different, a rental for an institution or an event for example, please contact us and we will make separate arrangements.
02Booking and paying
You book online: you choose a mobility aid, a period and a delivery address, and you pay the full amount right away by iDEAL or card.
Your booking is confirmed only once the payment has cleared. You then receive an email with your booking number and the invoice. That invoice is a receipt: nothing is outstanding.
All amounts on this website include 9% VAT. What you see when booking is what you pay. Nothing is added.
03The rental period
We rent by the week and by the month. A month with us is 28 days. For a wheelchair and a rollator we also rent by the weekend and for two weeks at a time.
One week is the shortest rental. If you need it for less, that is fine: you pay the weekly price and you may keep the aid for the whole week.
The rental period runs from the delivery day to the pickup day. Online you can book up to 180 days. If you need longer, call us.
04Delivery and pickup
We deliver and pick up throughout the Netherlands in our own van. What it costs depends on where you live and how long you rent:
- € 29.95 in Amsterdam and around it: postal codes 1011 to 1109, plus Amstelveen, Diemen, Duivendrecht, Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, Weesp, Badhoevedorp, Landsmeer and Schiphol.
- € 49.50 elsewhere in the Netherlands.
- Free throughout the Netherlands for rentals of 28 days or longer.
After you book we call you to agree the day and the time. When booking you fix a day, not yet a time.
Please make sure somebody is there to receive the aid, and to hand it back at the end.
05Extending
If you want to keep the aid longer, call us before your period ends. We record the extension as a following booking at the normal rate.
Extending is possible as long as the aid is still free for that period. We do not need to visit: you keep the same aid.
06Canceling and refunds
You cancel yourself, through the link in your confirmation email. You always see the exact amount you get back before you confirm.
How much comes back depends on how long before the start of the rental you cancel:
- More than 48 hours before: you get everything back.
- Between 24 and 48 hours before: half the rental price, plus the damage cover and the delivery fee in full.
- Less than 24 hours before: the rental price is not refunded; the damage cover and the delivery fee are refunded in full.
- After the rental has started or the aid has been delivered: nothing is refunded.
We refund to the account you paid from. You receive a credit note by email. A bank refund usually takes a few business days.
If you return the aid earlier than agreed, nothing comes back: you rented the period.
If we have to cancel, because an aid has broken and we have no replacement for example, you always get the full amount back, whatever the timing.
07Damage & theft insurance
Every rental includes damage & theft insurance per rental period. It is not a deposit — you pay € 0 deposit and nothing is held on your account — but a waiver of damage and theft: if you use the aid normally and it still gets marked, or it is stolen, you pay nothing extra.
The amount depends on the aid and the duration:
- Mobility scooter: € 15.00 up to one week, € 39.50 beyond.
- Wheelchair or rollator: € 5.00 up to one week, € 14.50 beyond.
If you cancel before the rental starts, the damage cover comes back in full: there was nothing yet to waive. Once the rental has started it is not refunded.
The waiver does not apply to intent, gross negligence or loss. See the point below.
08What you take care of during the rental
- Use the aid for what it is meant for and follow the explanation you get on delivery.
- Keep it indoors or somewhere locked, and charge it as explained.
- Do not lend it to others and do not take it abroad without discussing it with us.
- Report damage, breakdown or theft immediately. In case of theft, report it to the police and send us a copy.
09Damage, loss and theft
Normal wear is on us; you need do nothing about it. Damage arising from normal use, and theft, are covered by the damage & theft insurance.
In case of intent, gross negligence or loss we charge the repair or replacement cost. We always tell you first what that cost is and what we base it on.
10Returning late
If you cannot hand the aid back on the agreed day, call us. We charge the extra days at the rate of your rental period.
If we cannot reach you and the aid does not come back, we treat that as loss.
11Liability
We make sure the aid reaches you clean, charged and in good order.
You are responsible for safe use and for the traffic rules. We do not give medical advice. If you are unsure whether an aid suits you, discuss it with your doctor or physiotherapist.
Our liability is limited to the amount of the rental, except in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.
12Complaints and applicable law
If you are unhappy about something, tell us at info@mrmotion.nl or call us. We respond within five business days.
Dutch law applies to these terms. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain fully in force; nothing above detracts from them.
